*Flying site information*

The flying site of 2009 Paragliding Pre-Asian / Japan Championships is located along the valley of Yoshinogawa river, which is crossing Tokushima prefecture from west to east. Complicated ridge systems on both sides of river valley, with 1,100-1,300 meter summits, provide perfect conditions for setting of interesting cross-country tasks with almost any wind direction. On strong thermic days in May, cloudbase can reach 2,500 m and higher.

Height difference between the main takeoff and landing is 1,000 meters. Access to the takeoff will be done by Organizer’s provided bus (access time from LP to TO approx. 50-60 min).
